I Took My Own Boudoir Photos — Here’s Why That Matters
As a professional boudoir photographer, I’ve guided hundreds of women through intimate, empowering sessions meant to help them see themselves in a new light. But earlier this year, I decided to do something I’d never done before:
I turned the camera on myself.
With the help of my best friend Chelsea pressing the shutter, I stood in my own studio in Biloxi — in lingerie, with my Canon Connect app in hand — and became both the photographer and the subject. It was raw, emotional, and deeply healing.

120+ Pounds Lost. Loose Skin. Still Powerful.
Two years ago, I had vertical sleeve gastrectomy. I’ve since lost over 120 pounds. And yes, I have loose skin. A belly that folds. Arms that jiggle. But I made a decision that day:
I wouldn’t Photoshop away the truth. I would pose, light, and dress myself just like I do for my clients — accentuating my curves, my confidence, and my power.
And what I saw on the camera screen blew me away. Not because I looked “perfect.” But because I looked like me — strong, soft, sensual, and real.
Why I Did It
Because I needed to feel what my clients feel.
I needed to step into their shoes — the nervous energy, the vulnerability, the joy of seeing yourself captured in a way you’ve never seen before. Doing this gave me a deeper understanding of how to pose, coach, and support every woman who trusts me with her story.
What I Want You to Know
You don’t need to lose 10 more pounds. You don’t need to be a model. You don’t need to wait for the “right time.”
You deserve to feel beautiful now.
That’s what I offer every woman who walks into my studio. A moment to reclaim your confidence. A luxury experience designed to honor your journey — no matter what chapter you’re in.
