I’m Dawn V. Gilmore—an award-winning luxury portrait photographer, full-time since 2009, proudly based on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. With more than 16 years of experience, I specialize in capturing confidence and empowering women through elevated, editorial-style photography.

My studio experience is designed to feel like a celebration—whether you’re stepping in for powerful business branding, a once-in-a-lifetime maternity session, or a transformative boudoir shoot. I’ve trained extensively in posing, lighting, and styling the female form to create images that are bold, elegant, and deeply personal.

I believe that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, worthy, and celebrated—at every stage of her life. That belief fuels every session I shoot. My clients include professionals, entrepreneurs, mothers, and survivors—each with a unique story and a desire to see themselves through a lens of strength and beauty.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m mentoring women in business, spotlighting local entrepreneurs, or traveling for destination shoots. I’m also a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Professional Photographers of Louisiana (PPLA), the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, and the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce. I’ve been honored as a finalist for Best Local Photographer and nominated 3 years in a row as one of the Top 100 Women to Know by Gulf Coast Woman Magazine.
