Sunglasses product photography brings together sculptural shapes, reflective lenses, and distinctive frame details. For my recent CK LUXE shoot, I created a collection of styled images in my Biloxi, Mississippi studio, using tropical textures, winter-inspired scenes, dramatic lighting, and vibrant color to showcase the brand’s designs.

Photographed in my Mississippi studio, this project moved from tropical textures and winter-inspired scenes to dark, dramatic settings and vibrant color. Throughout the shoot, my focus was on giving each pair a setting that complemented its design while keeping the sunglasses at the center of the image.

Sunglasses Product Photography for CK LUXE

CK LUXE is a family-owned sunglasses brand that brings confidence, individuality, and a love of adventure into its identity. Their collection embraces statement-making style, with designs intended to move from sunny days to evenings out.

That personality gave me plenty of room to explore different visual directions for this shoot. Tropical textures, vibrant reflections, winter-inspired styling, and darker scenes each offered a different way to showcase the sunglasses.

The pairs I photographed feature distinctive silhouettes, colorful lenses, and branded temple details. I combined full-product photographs with closer views to show both the overall design and the smaller details that make each pair recognizable.

For me, that is an essential part of commercial product photography: creating images that capture attention while keeping the brand and its products clearly in focus.

Tropical Color and Texture

For the tropical scenes, I paired reflective lenses with sand, greenery, and pink flowers. The turquoise tones and warm textures created a setting with a relaxed, sun-filled feel.

The wider photograph emphasizes the shape and color of the sunglasses, while the closer view brings attention to the CK Luxe name on the temple. Together, they show how styled eyewear photography can establish a mood and still make room for branding.

A Darker Approach to Eyewear Photography

Another pair called for a more dramatic direction. Dark, rugged textures complemented the frame and gradient lenses, creating a quieter palette with a strong sense of depth.

With darker products, lighting has to reveal enough shape and detail for the design to remain readable. For these images, I focused on the edges of the frame, the transition through the lenses, and the contrasting temple detail.

The front view gives the sunglasses a strong presence, while the close-up highlights a part of the design that could easily be overlooked in a wider photograph.

A Winter-Inspired Sunglasses Setup

Sunglasses do not have to be photographed in a summer setting. For the blue mirrored pair, I created a winter-inspired scene using faux snow and bright, crystalline textures.

The cool blue lenses stand out against the pale surroundings, while the dark frame gives the image definition. A full-product view establishes the scene, and a closer photograph shows the temple detail and reflective surface.

This is one of the things I enjoy about creative product photography: the same product category can take on a completely different feeling through a change in styling, texture, and light.

Photographing Reflective Sunglass Lenses

Reflective lenses were one of the biggest challenges—and creative opportunities—in this project. They can pick up the lights, surrounding surfaces, and camera position, so small adjustments can make a noticeable difference in the final photograph.

For the coral-toned pair, I used colorful surroundings and reflections as part of the composition. The aim was to create a lively image while preserving the shape of the sunglasses and keeping the CK Luxe branding visible.

The opening image shows the complete pair in that setting. This closer view brings the lens color and branded temple into focus.

Photographing reflective products takes careful attention to what the surface is reflecting, as well as how the product itself is lit. That attention helps turn a challenging material into a defining feature of the image.

Warm Orange Tones and Shadow Play

For the warm-toned sunglasses, I built a scene around an orange palette, dried citrus, and directional shadows. The surrounding colors echoed the lenses and created a cohesive, sun-inspired look.

The wider image gives the product room to breathe, while the detail photograph emphasizes the CK Luxe name and the darker frame elements. This combination adds variety while keeping the visual direction consistent.

Product Photography for Eyewear and Accessories Brands

This CK Luxe project shows how a collection of styled images can give a brand several ways to present its products. Hero photographs, close-up details, seasonal concepts, and different color palettes offer visual variety for websites, social media, and marketing materials.

At Dawn V Gilmore VIP Photo, I create luxury product photography for eyewear, accessories, spirits, beauty products, jewelry, and other commercial brands. My studio is based in Biloxi, Mississippi, and my ship-to-me service allows me to work with brands nationwide.

Every project begins with the product: its design, its distinctive details, and the feeling the brand wants to communicate. From there, I develop the styling and lighting to bring those qualities into focus.
