There is something especially exciting about photographing a product created to celebrate a moment, a culture and an experience. For the Hennessy Carnival 2026 bottle release, I had the opportunity to create commercial imagery surrounding the special-edition bottle and photograph the energy of the brand activation itself.
The project brought together two sides of commercial photography that I love: carefully controlled studio product photography and the storytelling of a live brand activation.
Creating the Hennessy Bottle Images in the Studio
Before the event, I photographed the Hennessy Carnival 2026 bottle in the studio, creating polished product imagery that allowed the bottle and its distinctive design to take center stage.
Photographing spirits—particularly bottles with reflective glass, metallic details and intricate label artwork—is all about controlling light with intention. Every highlight, reflection and shadow contributes to how the bottle's shape, color and details are perceived.
For these images, my goal was to create photographs that felt elevated and brand-focused while allowing the special Carnival bottle design to remain the hero.
The resulting studio images showcase the bottle in a controlled environment where lighting, composition and product detail could all be refined specifically for the final image.
From Studio Product Photography to Brand Activation
The project continued beyond the studio with photography at the Hennessy Carnival 2026 bottle release brand activation.
Brand activations create an entirely different photographic environment. Instead of building every element of the scene in the studio, the goal becomes capturing the product within the experience surrounding it—the branding, atmosphere, details and moments that connect consumers with the product.
Photographing both portions of this project created a more complete visual story: the Hennessy bottle as a carefully photographed commercial product and the bottle as part of a live branded experience.
Commercial Photography That Goes Beyond the Bottle
Strong commercial photography isn't simply about creating a beautiful photograph. The imagery needs to support how a product is positioned, marketed and experienced by the customer.
A studio hero image may become part of a social campaign, website, advertisement or product launch. Brand activation photography serves a different purpose, documenting how that same product comes to life within an event and creating additional content that can continue telling the story long after the activation ends.
Being able to move between those environments allows me to provide brands with a broader collection of visual assets while maintaining a consistent focus on the product.
Commercial Spirits & Beverage Photography
Spirits and beverage photography has become a major focus of my commercial work. From whiskey, bourbon, rum, tequila and vodka to cocktails and ready-to-drink beverages, I create imagery designed around the individual identity of each brand and product.
Projects can include:
Hero bottle photography
Styled commercial product imagery
Bottle and label detail photography
Cocktail and beverage photography
Lifestyle product imagery
Product launch photography
Brand activation photography
Social media and marketing content
E-commerce product photography
Commercial projects can be photographed in my studio, on location or through my ship-to-me product photography service for brands nationwide.

Whether you're introducing a new spirit, launching a limited-edition bottle, planning a brand activation or simply need stronger imagery for an established product line, the photography should do more than document the product.
It should elevate how the brand is seen.
